I find it hard to believe that anyone as insignificant as Bo Bice would ever be the most searched after topic on Yahoo unless it is some sort of conspiracy.

I generally do a yahoo search for Bo Bice every hour or so, just to keep on top of what he’s doing, new releases, new pictures, who he’s dating etc. I would imagine that there are literally millions out there that do precisely the same thing.

Does anyone know how Yahoo comes up with the “Trending Now” list on the home page of Yahoo? Is it in order of the most searched phrases/subjects over the last 24 hours, over the week, etc? Are they formulated by topics (ie people, movies, cars)?
